Privacy Policy
AppealFlow.net (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a free online appeal letter generator at appealflow.net. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our free appeal letter generation service:
- Appeal input data: Information you voluntarily enter into our generators (carrier names, denial reasons, patient names, financial details, etc.) to draft appeal letters. This data is processed to generate your letter and is not sold to third parties.
- Account information (optional): If you choose to create a free account, we collect your email address for magic-link authentication and to save appeal drafts.
- Uploaded documents: EOB or denial letter uploads are processed via OCR for text extraction. Uploaded files are not permanently stored on our servers after processing unless you save a draft to your account.
- Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and rate-limiting purposes.
We do not sell your personal health information (PHI). AppealFlow.net is a consumer assistance tool, not a covered entity under HIPAA.

- Generate AI-drafted appeal letters based on your inputs
- Save and sync appeal drafts for registered users
- Send magic-link authentication emails and optional letter copy emails
- Prevent abuse through rate limiting and security monitoring
- Improve our service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
